My story

My name is Miss AJ and I am two years old.  I was rescued from a shelter and came with severe mouth ulcers.  I have recovered, but it’s left my mouth a little misshapen.  I’ve been told it’s endearing, though, whatever that means.  I am highly affectionate and always want to be by your side.  I’m pretty calm and my favorite thing to do is hang out with my person.  I’ll want to sleep right next to you every night.  I don’t like other animals, and I would thrive in a situation where I was the only animal.       I am located in the Wilmington, NC area. Unless otherwise noted I can be met on Saturdays at one of our adoption events.
