My story

  Meet Jary | 7 Years Young | 55 lbs of Sweetness & Second Chances Joyful, gentle, and so grateful for her second shot at life, Jary is absolutely thriving in her foster home! This calm, affectionate 7-year-old beauty — with her soft beige and brindle coat — is happiest when she’s cuddled up next to her foster parents, resting her head on their laps, soaking up belly rubs, and getting her coat gently brushed. Jary gets along great with the small dogs in her foster home — though she does have a bit of a mischievous streak! She’s been known to “borrow” their toys and claim their beds as her own.  She recently welcomed her fosters’ three adult sons with calm curiosity, choosing to relax nearby, and she especially loves her walks — she’s working on her leash skills and getting better every day. While Jary doesn’t know any commands just yet, she’s a smart, eager-to-please girl who responds beautifully to love and attention. She’s almost fully house-trained and is doing best for now in her ultra-secure crate (think: Alcatraz for dogs). Ideal Home: Jary would love a calm, patient home with another friendly dog her size to show her the ropes. With continued training, gentle guidance, and plenty of love, she’ll blossom into the confident, loyal companion she was meant to be. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application in the order submitted and will contact you within 48 hours (please check your spam folder for our emails). If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives!  A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you.  The adoption fee for this pet is $375. Our adoption fee covers the following: Spay/neuter Microchip DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog.  Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for all vaccinations after adoption. Please fill out an adoption application by clicking  here . Fill out our Adoption Application online.  We'll contact you within 48 hours to answer any questions you may have about the pet. 2. If the pet looks like a great match, we'll schedule a meet and greet and ask you to fill out our online Adoption Agreement if you'd like to proceed with adopting.  Once you've completed the Adoption Agreement and pay the pet's Adoption Fee, you can arrange to pick up your new furry family member!
