Submit application to meet dog if interested - yes an application is required******** Meet Lula! This beautiful darling is about 2 years old weighing in around 15 pounds. She is suspected to be a Rat Terrier mix who exhibits amazing qualities. She enjoys long walks where she walks beautifully on her leash while scoping out all of the birds and squirrels in the neighborhood (we call that Dog TV). She is potty trained, too! Lula is great with people, though she may be a little shy at first when meeting someone new. She does warm up rather quickly, and loves to cuddle and play. She is still trying to figure out the best way to warm up to other dogs, so she's a bit more selective on that. Since she is a terrier, she will benefit from a more active home to get out that energy! At night, she loves to curl up under the covers and sleeping in late. Lula is an amazing little dog, and we hope her forever family is out there for her! We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally we require physically fenced yard for dog/pup to play in safely. Exceptions are sometimes made to this requirement but is up to the foster and more often done for the small breed dogs. All our dogs have been treated with de-wormer; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 months or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchipped; and examined by veterinarian plus given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed at time of adoption. Dogs will be spayed/neutered thru us prior to finalizing any adoption. We provide information on dogs age and breed based on what we are told by person surrendering dog or vet's best guess. While we try our best we cannot guarantee that this information is 100% accurate and can often be best guess in case of our lovable mutts.
