Male, DSH, 4 years old Temperament: friendly, high energy, extrovert, carefree, fearless Tux is ready to grace your home with his charm and elegance! A carefree dude at heart, he is a fast friend to everyone he meets and is quite vocal, ensuring he'll always share his thoughts with you. Tux will quickly become your devoted shadow, eager to be your friend, admirer, sidekick, confidante, soulmate, and other half. His adaptability makes him a natural extrovert who thrives on human interaction, and he will happily soak in all of your attention—keeping your eyes on him will never be a challenge! With perfect litterbox manners and a non-picky palate, Tux is not only an irresistible companion but also an easy one to care for. He only scratches on scratching posts and pads, showing no interest in your couches and keeping your furniture safe. He will thrive in a household that has a high-energy and playful cat who needs an instant friend. When he’s not cuddly, he is showing off how high he can jump. He especially loves a feather toy or a wand. He will happily mind his own business or take a long nap on the cat tree when you are working from home. However, he will occasionally walk between your face and the monitor, but he knows not to step on the keyboard. Apply today to adopt Tux! ______________________ If you are interested in meeting a cat, we require an adoption application. If the animal has "HAS APPLICATION" listed, they are still available to receive additional applications but also may be in the process of being adopted soon. We do not have a shelter. CDCK has a thorough adoption process to find the best possible fit for each of our dogs and cats (we do not operate under a first-come, first-served model). Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter (unless specified). We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam prior to adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDCKR. City Dogs Rescue & City Kitties is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us. Cat specific vetting: Rabies, FVRCP, Feline Leukemia vaccines, as age appropriate. Cats are tested for FIV and FeLV, when age appropriate, but not when born to a FELV/FIV negative mother in foster care. The kittens have age-appropriate vetting to date, which includes a veterinary exam, deworming, microchip, and the first FVRCP vaccine. An adopter will need to agree to cover costs of spay/neuter when he/she is age-appropriate (usually 16-20 weeks) and will need to continue his/her kitten vaccines (including rabies) as he/she grows older. Kittens under 12 weeks of age must be adopted in pairs or to a home with friendly resident feline. They will not be considered as singles.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Tux, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
