My story

Meet Duncan! This adorable tripod is bursting with love and personality. Despite missing his front left leg, Duncan doesn’t let anything slow him down—he’s full of life, loves long walks, head rubs, and all the attention he can get. Duncan—also affectionately known as Dunky Bear or Funky Dunky—is a loyal, cuddly, three-legged wonder. He’s convinced he’s a lap dog, and he’ll happily lick you to pieces if you let him! Duncan loves to explore, play with chew toys, and, most of all, be by your side. He’s very food motivated, house-trained, smart, and easily redirected if his curiosity gets the better of him. While Duncan is a loving companion, he can be a bit stressed around other dogs. He’s shown to be dog-selective, so he would do best as your one-and-only pup. Given all he’s been through, he just wants a safe space and a loving human to call his own. Bonus: Duncan’s adoption fee has already been paid by a generous donor!
