Felix

My story

Felix is a distinguished senior cat estimated to be around 13 years old. He was living outside at a colony when the feeder asked us to take him into our rescue.  Felix was previously ear-tipped so he was already fixed. We did get him up to date on vaccines and did senior bloodwork, which was within normal limits for his age. Although Felix is shy, he is friendly and enjoys getting pet. Felix also LOVES other cats and is often found snuggling with them.  We noticed that one of Felix's back legs was also pushed out a little. During the vet exam, the vet noted that it appears that Felix has some arthritis. We started doing monthly Solencia injections to try to help.  Felix is looking for a home to spend his senior years.  His forever home needs to have a kitty friend for him.   Felix did test positive for FIV but everyone that follows us knows that is no big deal. Cats with FIV can live long, happy lives and can live with non-FIV cats as long the cats get along. We are happy to answer questions about FIV.  Felix is neutered, received age-appropriate vaccines and deworming, and is microchipped (free lifetime registration with adoption).
