My story

My name is Janet! My mama was rescued from the streets pregnant and we were born in the rescue’s care. – Female – 6 months old (DOB 1/28/2025) - 40~ growing pounds – Spayed, vaccinated, microchipped - Dog friendly - Very very shy and timid at first, needs to build confidence and independence - LOVES WATER I'm sweet, loving, and I LOVE water!!! When a kiddie pool is not available, any water bowl or pail will do. Once I am done scuba diving and “swimming”, your lap makes for the best drying off spot. I am very shy and timid at first after my sister leaving. Unfortunately, due to no foster or adopter interest, my sister and I stayed together much longer than we should have for the first five months of our life. I have developed a bit of a case of littermate syndrome. I am working hard to build my confidence back since she left and learn how to navigate the world without her. She just left about a week ago, and my confidence has sadly tanked and I have been scared operating life without her. I would love to find a kind and understanding foster or adopter willing to help me build that confidence back.
