My story

My foster writes: I am Mr. Towns, an adult cat with the soul of a little kitten. My foster parents love that I'm the perfect combination of a chill boy who will lie beside you, yet I'm also a curious and playful kitty. I recently discovered my love for playing with strings and hiding in boxes to surprise my resident cat brother - we get along very well, and I enjoy having a feline pal to play with.I appreciate your patience in getting to know me and making slow movements since I'm still gaining confidence around you. But don't get me wrong, I really like being around people and seeking their affection. I'm not very vocal, so I'll usually approach you purring, asking for pets, or rubbing my body against your legs.Recently, I even started asking for head rubs while licking my foster parents' fingers to help me groom my cute face, lol! Also, don't be surprised if I come to you at night looking for snuggles or if you wake up to find me sleeping on your lap.If you're seeking the ideal mix of independence and cuddly companionship, I hope to find a loving forever home with you.What my friends at ACC say about me:Mr. Towns was in the den, fairly relaxed but slightly wary and sniffed treats, and then allowed petting, warming up fairly quickly and leaning in nicely for cheek rubbing. He gave some slow blinks and while remaining slightly unsure he enjoyed petting and attention. He will likely need some time to warm up to his new home.Mr. Towns interacts with the observer, solicits & appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for cat parents with either an average amount of cat experience or demonstrate a basic understanding of typical cat behavior.
