My story

🎾 Meet ZoZo! 🐾 This 4-year-old, 68-pound mixed breed is smart, goofy, and totally fetch-obsessed — in the best way! Unlike most dogs, ZoZo knows the rules: no ball surrender, no throw. 🧠⚾ Smart guy, right? ZoZo is a quick learner who knows several commands like sit, drop, down, here, and even get up (his cue to hop into the car — one of his favorite things ever). He LOVES car rides, outdoor adventures, and has never turned down a pup cup. But more than anything, ZoZo just wants to be with his people. 💛 Before coming to the shelter, ZoZo was left tied up alone in a backyard and barked nonstop for attention. That’s not the life he wants. He’s not meant to be left outside alone — this boy thrives on connection and interaction. 🥹 At the shelter, he doesn’t pay much attention to other dogs. He’s happiest just chasing a ball with his humans. While strong, ZoZo walks beautifully on a leash once he’s had a good fetch session to burn off energy. He keeps a clean kennel and plays with surprising gentleness, always aware of his strength. 🐕 🏡 ZoZo’s ideal home would have a fenced yard or a family committed to taking him out for supervised play.
