My story

Whimmy Whammy and I started our doggie day out walking along the trails next to the American River! He is a beautiful majestic boy and has the cutest little prance when he walks! He definitely has puppy energy and would benefit from being in an active home!He is very toy motivated and even carried his little bunny toy with him in his mouth for most of our walk. It was so cute!! :) In the absence of a toy, he will pick up sticks or leaves on the ground to make his own toys lol. But he was very receptive to the instruction “Drop it” and would drop them right away. In true shepherd fashion, he is also very fascinated by squirrels, birds, insects, etc and his ears will perk up at the slightest sound on a walk :) He is a puppy so he had some little nibbles/mouthing on my hands/arms - but when given a toy, he was able to learn to redirect that energy. He seems very teachable and with a bit of training, he will learn to only nibble his toys! After our walk by the river, I brought him to get a pup cup which he very much enjoyed and after playing with his toys at my apartment, I took him to a local park where he LOVED to roll around in the grass and soak up the sun. He is a very sweet boy and is a pretty good walker on the leash (besides an occasional excited jump). He also takes treats very gently and is excited to show you that he knows how to sit whenever the treat bag comes out :) Whimmy Whammy would be a perfect dog for an active person, who is interested in training him to be the best version he can be :)Whimmy Whammy`s adoption fee has been paid for with a donation from a community member
