My story

Meet Valentine, the sweet and shy bundle of love looking for her forever home! Valentine is a 1-year-old Poodle x Terrier mix with a luscious curly black-and-white coat, weighing in at just 15 lbs. She’s the perfect size for snuggling and cuddles. While Valentine may be timid, quiet and fearful in new situations, her loving nature and willingness to learn shine through every day. Although she started off unsure of her new world, Valentine is quickly blossoming into a playful and affectionate girl who enjoys zooming around with her foster siblings. A home with another confident and social dog will help Valentine decompress quicker and help her feel safe in her new environment, although she’d also thrive with an adopter who’s patient and ready to guide her as the only dog. Val’s got plenty of energy, especially when she’s chasing her furry friends in the backyard! With the help of a steady routine in her foster home, she’s come so far in trusting humans and showing her true personality. Valentine is house-trained with pee pads and is working on her outdoor potty training and leash skills. She also likes sleeping in her crate.
