Ivan (CL-S)

My story

 Austin Siamese Rescue offers courtesy listings in an effort to assist cat owners in finding loving, responsible homes for their pets. This cat is not part of our foster program and is not under the direct care of Austin Siamese Rescue.  For further information on this cat, please contact the caretaker directly at stefpq@yahoo.com Ivan was rescued from a Starbucks parking lot in December 2023. He got adopted into a lovely multicat home. Sadly, he guardian got diagnosed with a terminal illness and Ivan came back into my care. He is so much like his old kitten self but sooo much bigger! Ivan is a hoot! He LIVES to play (and to eat his wet food) and loves his morning & evening walks outside.  Ivan has a BIG personality. He is vocal when he wants something. Ivan lived with 3 other cat buddies in his former home.  He would do best in a multicat household or if there was a young super active cat in the home.  He loves other cats and wants to cuddle and head-butt them and PLAY. He plays hard, so ideally he would have another super playful cat. He wants to chase them and be chased back (some cats do not like this, but Ivan does not understand).  He loves scratching posts, catnip, wand toys and looking out the windows at birds & squirrels. He loves chasing squirrels when we are outside as well. Ivan would do best in a home, not an apartment.  He is non-stop at times playing, chasing and vocalizing.  He always wants to be where the action is.
