My story

Peanut/Wonder 2 years 45 lbs Husky mix Spayed female  This girl has been through it! She was tethered to a tree in a backyard in San Antonio, Texas when two dogs jumped over the fence and attacked her. According to her medical notes: "patient is painful, nonambulatory, shocky, exhibiting multifocal puncture/tear wounds along all limbs, weak femoral pulses, r/o underlying fx, neurotrauma, internal organ injury." She ultimately lost her leg. So after coming through the attack, losing her leg and healing, she was still in the predicament of being at San Antonio ACS (Animal Care Services) and ultimately placed on the euthanasia list. After overcoming so much we knew she was a special girl and are so happy we saved her! She now has a bright future before her in Colorado! Good with dogs and people Cats are unknown Older children 12+ because of her toy/resource guarding Wonder is currently in boarding in San Antonio, Texas. She could use a San Antonio foster while she waits for a committed adopter or foster to punch her ticket to travel up to Denver, Colorado. ##2346536##
