My story

Those ears! That smile! That velvety black fur! Have you ever seen anything more photogenic?Converse is ready to bounce his happy self right into your life. This most excellent big boy knows `sit` and is very happy to show off in exchange for treats. His dog-walking friends describe him as sweet and friendly - evidenced by his big smile and happy wagging tail. He`s at a great age - past the puppy phase and ready to embark on a full life with a new family.Converse has been on several Dog Day Out adventures! Here`s what one family had to say: `Converse had a great DDO today! He was genuinely the sweetest boy I have done one with. We went to lunch where he laid out in the sun and enjoyed a cheeseburger and even got to get some pets from the sweetest kids. We went walking, and he is gentle on a leash and excited about the outdoors. He took a big nap back at the apartment, snuggled up on my lap. We ended the day at PetSmart where he picked out a duck and a got a pup cup! He truly has so much love to offer and deserves his forever.`Like all our dogs, he`d love to do a meet and greet at the shelter with any potential doggie siblings to ensure a great match for everyone. We want all our dogs to have homes as quickly as possible. In an effort to help dogs with longer stays, those who are deteriorating in the shelter environment, or who are harder to place find homes more quickly, the adoption fee for this dog has been waived.
