Empress

My story

This pretty princess of a puppy is Empress. She will conquer your heart with one look from her soulful, soft eyes. She is currently only 28lbs, but she definitely needs to put on some weight. We don`t know how she ended up in this condition before arriving at the shelter. We do know she is very timid and easily spooked. But when she looks at you, it`s easy to see she wants to be brave and trust. She just needs a very patient home to find that. Empress is a huge fan of hot dogs, which may help warm your way into her heart. And you don`t need to worry if you are spoiling this little wisp of a dog with too many treats while she gains weight! Because she is shy, a calm home without too much foot traffic or small children would be best. Empress has done well in dog play groups and can go to a home with other dogs. They must meet at the shelter for introductions lead by the staff. This girl deserves a `do-over` on her story. If you`ve ever earned the trust of a shy dog, you know it is worth the wait!
