🐾 Foster Pup Spotlight: Bentley #MASA45409 🐾 Meet Bentley, a sweet and curious pup who’s quickly learning the ropes of home life! 💙 ✨ Bentley’s First 24 Hours in Foster: 🐶 Personality: Gentle, observant, and still coming out of his shell. 🐾 Dog-Friendly: Loves following his foster siblings around and playing with tails! 🐱 Cat-Friendly: Shows mild interest but no strong reactions. 🚽 Potty Training: Still learning—pee pads are currently just an obstacle course for him. 🏡 Crate Training: TBD—still assessing his comfort level. 👣 With People: Bentley sticks close, lying at his foster’s feet and following them around, but he hasn’t initiated affection—yet! We’re sure that will change with time and love. 💙 Why Bentley is Special: This little guy is still learning to trust and open up, but he’s already showing promise! Email MAS@memphistn.gov to learn more! 🐶💙 Check out what Bentley's foster says about him: "So first assessment after 24 hours... Bentley has acclimated very quickly. He follows the other dogs around which makes it easy for me to get him outside and inside from the backyard. He likes playing with my older dog's tail (much to the chagrin of my older dog). He's mildly interested in cats. Fortunately, my cat is very social around dogs so introductions are easy. He is definitely not house trained. Pee pads are just obstacles for him to walk around to get to a spot on the floor he finds suitable to relieve himself. I don't know how he'll do with crate training yet. As for humans... he will lay at my feet and follow me around. He's non-reactionary when I make contact or pick him up. He won't initiate contact or show any affection. I'm sure that'll change over time."
