My story

Meet Buttercup! Buttercup is a 2 year old Pomeranian mix who was saved from a hoarding situation along with her boyfriend and three puppies. Sadly, as is common in these types of situations Buttercup is under socialized and shy at this point in time. She is slowly learning we are only here to provide him love and care, and is doing wonderful in her progress. We are confident she will make a wonderful family member for a family who understands of her past and gives her the time she needs to learn to trust new people. As with all rescue dogs, they will need a family who is understanding and prepared to work through a period of transition with them as they learn to live in a house and around people. They will need time to trust their new family before working on training, such as house training. We require all our animals to be trained using positive reinforcement methods ONLY. Buttercup will to do best in a home without young children as well (10+), that has another confident dog in the home.
