My story

Hi, I’m Denzel — but don’t let the name fool you. I’m not here for the red carpet or Oscar gold. I’m here for the real prize: a loving new home.At 2 years old and 68 pounds of love and good looks, I’ve got the whole package. One volunteer said I’m “sooo stink’ sweet and cute,” and honestly? I take that as a full-blown five-star review.My past is a bit of a mystery. I was left behind when my family had to move, but I’m not dwelling on the sad stuff. I’m focused on my future — hopefully one filled with snuggles, treats, and people who see me as the award-winning companion I know I can be.Let’s make our own happily-ever-after story. Come meet me today.~~~~~The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon until 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilco.org. Interested in fostering a dog in need? You can take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours, giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time.
