My story

Wallen aka Wally! Pitt/Shepherd/Pug Mix Male 37 lbs ~1-2 years old Crate and house trained Introducing wonderful Wally Wally has come a long way in his short life! Small but mighty Wally was found abandoned and emaciated in the basement of a house in Buffalo. He was brought to the City of Buffalo Animal Shelter and immediately saved by Buffalo Underdog Rescue. After extensive treatment to get his nutrition and health on track, Wally is now searching for his forever home!   He has a strong spirit to survive and live life to its fullest! Although he is on the smaller side, he is big on personality with medium energy and great desire for the finest foods he can find.  He loves to dine in his crate on sweet potatoes, rice and chicken along with his kibble softened with bone broth. After a good meal, Wally loves to snuggle on your lap, burying himself under a throw or in his donut with his blanket.  You mention "get in your crate" and he runs full speed to it and is always rewarded with a treat before going to bed for the night. He sleeps in his crate all night without any accidents. When he is brought outside, you tell him "go to the bathroom" and he immediately does.   He has adjusted to a set schedule of waking up early, going outside quickly to do his business and coming inside for his breakfast before settling in for his morning nap.  Warning: Wally snores!!  He knows how to sit and wait perfectly for a treat. He really enjoys being with his people and wants to definitely make you happy by being a good dog. He loves his chew hooves to keep his teeth clean and loves to rough house with his canine foster sibling   Wally loves going for a walk around the block but is still working on his manners when he sees other dogs and people.
