My story

Introducing Mackleby! He was brought to the shelter on 3/18 because he was on a journey to find his way home. Mackleby is only 3 years old and weighs a mere 50lbs. He is beautiful inside and out. The volunteers describe him as sweet, cute, handsome, very energetic. Mackelby is a smart cookie as he knows how to sit when asked for treats and he may know more. He can be a bit strong on the leash and a need to understand how a leash works but with a lot of patience, devotion, love and a refresher course in leash training and etiquette, he will have that mastered in no time at all! Please take some time and visit with him in Run 831: ask for ID is 8819. He is waiting for you! Please help him find his way out of the shelter and into your heart, home and family. Mackleby is current on vaccines, will be neutered, microchipped and has tested negative for heartworms which is awesome news for our Mackelby! Please take some time and schedule to meet this awesome kiddo and get to know him a little better. Mackelby is probably what you have been looking for all this time. He is patiently waiting for his forever family to save his life. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heart worm or combo test and a microchip.
