My story

Meet Raisin - Your Loyal, Snuggly SidekickRaisin may not have had the easiest start in life-some of her reactions suggest she wasn't always treated kindly-but you'd never guess that from the way she adores her humans. She's an incredibly sweet, snuggly little lovebug who wants nothing more than to be close to her people. While Raisin can be a bit cautious at first, especially if someone reaches for her head too quickly, she's quick to warm up with a gentle approach and a few tasty treats. (Really, who doesn't want to enjoy snacks in peace?) Once you're in her circle, she'll reward you with endless affection-curled up next to you on the couch, napping by your side while you work, or snoozing peacefully in your lap. She's impressively quiet in the home and rarely barks unless something truly startles her outside.Raisin also loves her daily neighborhood adventures-especially if there's a squirrel in sight! She takes her squirrel patrol duties very seriously and is working hard on her leash manners so she doesn't pull you along for the chase. Playtime brings out her goofy side, and her hilarious version of fetch is guaranteed to make you laugh. When it comes to other dogs, Raisin can be a bit socially awkward. She might get reactive if another dog gets too close on a walk, though she's already making progress with training. Because of this, any resident dogs should be very patient and well-socialized, and her future humans should be comfortable reading and responding to dog body language to help everyone adjust and thrive. If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion who wants nothing more than to be your cozy, quirky little shadow, Raisin might just be the perfect fit. She has so much love to give-and she's ready to give it all to you.Raisin is not suited for house with cats.. Primary Color: Tan Weight: 44 Age: 2yrs 7mths 0wks

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Raisin, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
