My story

Meet Austin - born May, 2023. Look at this handsome boy. His former Mom found herself homeless and wanted Austin to go to a loving home. We told her we could help her with that. Austin took a week or so to adjust to being in a home with other cats and dogs. He is still not sure of our Corgi who likes to herd our new foster cats. (Bad Corgi) Austin is doing fine with the other foster kitties. Austin was hissy when he first arrived. Not agressive, but hissing is what he does when he is unsure or scared. He is a curious kiity, enjoys being petted once he knows you and is playful. Austin is a young adult - still playful, but not like a bouncy kitten who will use you for a scratching post. Help us, help cats like Austin. PLEASE READ: Adoption fee $100 for adult ( over 12 months old) and $125 for kitten (under 12 months old). All cats coming into your care will be delivered altered (spayed/neutered), tested for Fiv/FELV, microchipped, have received age-appropriate vaccines, treated for fleas and worms. We are not first come, first serve. We try to match our kitties with the purrfect home. Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We are an all-volunteer organization. All our kitties are in foster care. We ask that you be patient with us as we connect you to the foster to set up a meet and greet. .
