My story

Meet Kody! Kody is a four-year old Shepherd mix with a playful, goofy personality and a heart full of love. This sweet, friendly guy is a loving and affectionate companion who enjoys playing in the park with his fellow dog friends and cuddling up to his favorite humans at home. A loyal family pup for his early years, he is now looking for a new forever home due to his current owner’s recent health challenges. Kody is house-trained and gets along well with other dogs of all sizes as well as children. Highly food-motivated, Kody will do just about anything for a treat! He knows all the basic commands—sit, down, stay, wait, paw, spin, and go to bed. Kody is looking for a loving home where he can get some daily exercise as well as lots of affection and belly rubs. He is an energetic pup, but as long as he gets some daily activity like going for a long walk or making a visit to the dog park, he’s just as content to relax and snuggle in for a lazy evening at home.
