My story

Scrappy is a sweet, medium-energy pup with a big heart and even bigger ears (seriously—they’re so big they sometimes get stuck behind his head, and it’s the cutest thing ever!). He forms strong bonds with the people who care for him and loves nothing more than cuddling up on the bed for a good nap or handing out sweet little paw-shakes.While Scrappy takes time to warm up, especially around men and kids, he thrives in a calm, not-too-hectic environment with adults who understand his needs. He’s not a fan of cats and is still learning how to socialize with other dogs—he’s curious but can get overwhelmed, so slow introductions are best.Scrappy is housebroken and does well in his crate, especially with some calming dog music playing in the background. He can get anxious when left alone and may chew things if not crated, so a secure setup is a must. That said, he’s a fast learner and knows commands like “sit,” “shake,” and “crate.”If you`re looking for a loyal little shadow with a huge personality and even bigger ears, Scrappy might just be your guy!Learn more about our adoption process.
