Darrow

My story

Darrow was found as an outdoor kitty roaming the streets of Chicago. As our Cat Programs Lead Amanda was walking aorund, she had Darrow come up to her crying for attention and limping. Amanda started chatting with neighbors who said they have seen him hanging around for 2 years and he lives outside with no family. She had to scoop him up and get him medical attention. She took him home to find that Darrow's paw was not hurt but one of his nails was too short. SO basically he played Amanda haha! After searching for his family and no one turned up, he came to stay at Heartland. Darrow is the sweetest cat who just wants to sit on your lap! He loves to play and is always eating. He is named after the main character of the book Red Rising who also has red eyes and is a survivor. Darrow is currently staying at our Heartland Facility! We are open Thursday 4pm-7pm, Friday 4pm-7pm, Saturday Noon-6pm and Sunday Noon-6pm. Feel free to stop by to meet him! No appointment necessary. Darrow has not been neutered yet but it is important to us that all of our animals are fixed and so we ask that you put down a $100 refundable deposit while we schedule a time to neuter this sweetie. We will schedule, transport and ensure he is neutered and then refund you your deposit once completed. Darrow is up to date on FVRCP and Rabies vaccinations and is FIV/FeLV negative.
