My story

Nutmeg is in a foster home searching for her forever family! If you are interested in meeting her, copy, paste, and complete the link below. This will be sent to the foster family for follow-up: https://greenvillefosterteam.tiny.us/meetyourmatch You can also call or text the Lifesaving Team at 864-467-3985. Nutmeg is a super cute and silly girl full of energy and love. She’s fully housetrained and enjoys spending time outside in a fenced yard as well as on leash walks. Nutmeg is a playful Velcro dog who loves zoomies, cuddling, and exploring. She can be jumpy and plays rough at times, so she’s best suited for a home with older kids who can help her learn polite manners. Her crate training has improved significantly—no whimpering or barking, and she’s gotten calmer overall. She loves car rides once she settles down and has shown friendly, playful behavior with other dogs, though she can get a bit hyper at times. Nutmeg responds better to commands now and seems to enjoy playing with other pups through the fence or in person. She’s affectionate and goofy, always ready to put her paws on you for attention. — Best suited for: House with a yard (preferably with a doggy door) — Training: Fully housetrained; crate training steadily improving — Alone time: Crated when alone for 2–3 hours; some separation anxiety but no crate escapes — Leash manners: Walks well but pulls occasionally — Energy level: Medium to high (more energetic lately, with playful bursts and calm moments at night) — Personality: Adventurous, Affectionate, Athletic, Chill, Curious, Enthusiastic, Goofy, Snuggly/lap-dog, Playful, Quirky — Favorite activities: Playing with toys, running/zoomies, cuddling, exploring/sniffing around — Dog interactions: Friendly, playful, gentle; loves playing with neighbor dogs and sharing space — Fun facts: Super sweet and loving; loves chew bones and any treat; expresses love with jumps and excitement when greeting Adoption includes vaccines, deworming, flea treatment, microchip, heartworm test, and spay.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Nutmeg, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
