Kaya

My story

Kaya is a beautiful 5½-year-old cat with a strong personality and a soft spot for chin rubs—on her terms, of course. She’s an independent lady who knows what she likes and isn’t afraid to let you know. Kaya is front declawed, so she must be an indoor-only cat. She's also looking for a calm, adult-only home where she can be the one and only pet. The shelter environment, with all its noise and other animals, has been stressful for her, so she’s more than ready to find a peaceful, understanding space to call her own. If you’re someone who respects a cat’s boundaries and enjoys the company of a feline who’s equal parts sweet and sassy, Kaya may be the perfect match. Give her a little patience—and plenty of chin rubs—and she’ll show you just how loving she can be.
