My story

This adorable pup is Niko! He arrived at the shelter as a lost boy on 3/21, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim him. The volunteers describe him as very sweet and playful! He is curious and attentive to the people around him. He does seem to be mostly house trained so that is great news! Puppies are super cute and fun, but they're also a lot of work. Please ensure you have the time, energy, and patience to raise a puppy before adopting! Niko is approximately 10 months old and weighs 31 lbs. He should be a medium-sized dog when fully grown. He is UTD on vaccines and did test negative for heartworms. He will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. Niko is waiting in run 60; his ID # is 8877. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
