Hi, my name is Ellie. 🐾 I’m a 3-year-old black shepherd/lab mix, and my heart is full of love just waiting for the right family. Sadly, I found myself at the shelter after my owner passed away. It’s been tough, but I’m ready to find a new home where I can share my sweetness.I’m a gentle girl who absolutely adores people and children. There’s something about the way kids giggle that just makes me wag my tail! I also get along well with other girl dogs—having a buddy to play with makes my heart sing.I’ll be honest: I can be a bit selective about my friends. Cats and dominant male dogs just aren’t my favorites. I’ve been through a lot, and I guess I’ve learned who I feel comfortable with. But if you’re patient and kind, I promise to show you just how loving I can be.I’m easy to walk on a leash, and I absolutely love going outside for walks—there’s nothing quite like feeling the fresh air and exploring the world!
