Meet G.G. – A Gentle Soul Ready to Bloom G.G. is a 2.5-year-old, 41-pound sweetheart with a quiet spirit and a heart full of love just waiting to be shared. At first, she may be a little shy—new people and environments can feel overwhelming—but give her a little time, and she’ll show you just how affectionate and loyal she can be. Once she knows she's safe, G.G. blossoms into a loving companion who adores gentle pets and will happily rest her head in your lap for some quality cuddle time. She walks beautifully on leash and is calm and easy to handle on strolls. While she might be nervous getting into the car, she settles quickly and rides like a pro. G.G.'s overall demeanor is calm and quiet, but she has her playful moments too! She loves romping around in the yard and occasionally will carry a toy proudly in her mouth. G.G. would thrive in a peaceful home where she can build confidence at her own pace. If you're patient, kind, and ready to offer a soft place for this lovely girl to land, G.G. might just be your perfect match. Are you ready to open your heart to this gentle, playful soul? G.G. is waiting to meet you. G.G. would likely do best with another calm dog. As always, we strongly recommend bringing any resident dogs to the shelter for a meet and greet with potential new family members to be sure it's a good match. If bringing a dog for a meet and greet, please bring proof of up to date rabies, bordetella, and DHPP vaccines. To meet your future pet, come to Guilford County Animal Services between 12 and 4 any day except Tuesday!
