My story

This beautiful one-year-old Chow Chow from Chicago is as classic as her namesake, Wrigley Field—full of charm and ready to find her forever team. Wrigley is a sweet, curious girl who’s learning the joys of home life. She’s been friendly and interested in other dogs, watching them with calm curiosity. She’s still gaining confidence in new environments, but she’s coming out of her shell more each day. She’s incredibly food-motivated—treats are definitely the way to her heart! This makes her eager to learn and bond with people. Wrigley is also getting used to being pampered. While she wasn’t a fan of the blow dryer during her first grooming session, she handled it well and will only get more comfortable with time. Wrigley is looking for a patient, loving home that understands the unique personality of Chows. She would thrive with an adopter who appreciates her independent but affectionate nature, and who will continue to help her blossom into the confident, happy pup she’s meant to be.
