My story

Obie is the definition of a gentle giant—an absolutely massive yet incredibly soft-hearted boy who is just over a year old. With a calm and loving nature, he is the kind of dog that melts into your side, soaking up every bit of affection he can get. All he wants in life is attention and love, and he will lean into you with his whole body just to be close. Despite his size, Obie is remarkably easy to handle; he is phenomenal on a leash, making walks an absolute joy rather than a challenge. He is fantastic with other dogs, coexisting peacefully and happily, and he also respects cats, showing an admirable sense of restraint and understanding. His favorite pastimes include curling up on a comfy dog bed, lounging around, and napping the day away. Obie’s calm demeanor makes him an incredible companion, the kind of dog that fits seamlessly into any home. With such a perfect temperament and an endlessly loving heart, it’s truly baffling why he is in a shelter. He is the kind of dog that makes you wonder how anyone could have let him go because he is, without a doubt, one of the most amazing dogs you could ever meet.
