My story

Mr. "Handsome" (AKA - The Velvet Panther of Love) showed up to our block a year ago and instantly became everyone's favorite porch cat. With his fanciful vocals, sleek coat and love of affection, we knew he had been loved by someone at some point in his young life. Several neighbors made sure he never went hungry or cold in the absence of ability to personally adopt. Last month, he came down with an eye infection, which ended up being his one way ticket to a foster home after a successful veterinarian intervention. Handsome is currently living as part of a floral studio and enjoying all the foods, pets, and making dried (non-toxic) flowers new toys. His likes include following you and being wherever you are, chasing stings, and wet food. Dislikes are loud noises, feeling lonely and eye ointment. This friendly and affectionate boy wins the hearts of everyone he meets and couldn't be any more ready to win you over too! Handsome DeGroat-Horst is 2 years old and is neutered, FeLV and FIV negative, current on shots, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and litter box trained. He is affectionate, athletic, cuddly, dignified, friendly, loyal, playful, and smart. Adoption fee: $100 (plus tax)
