My story

Meet Tulip 3—affectionately known as Tutu! This joyful, bouncy boy has blossomed in his foster home and is full of heart, energy, and affection. Tutu has a big personality that shines once he feels safe, and he’s been soaking up all the love, structure, and adventure that foster life has to offer. Whether he’s trotting beside you on a walk, launching into zoomies, or curling up for snuggles, Tutu is always all-in.Tutu thrives on daily exercise and routine. He especially loves long walks and hikes around Baltimore, where his curious spirit and wagging tail are on full display. He’s even dipped his paws into swimming—though he’s still building confidence with the water. He`s not quite ready for a triathlon, but he’s enjoying the journey and taking baby steps with encouragement from his foster family.This sweet guy has made great strides in his crate training. He’s also fully house-trained and happiest when he’s close to his people—so close, in fact, that he has a habit of crawling across the floor just to be near you. When you come home, you’ll likely be greeted by an afternoon case of the zoomies as he celebrates your return with joyful leaps and playful sprints.Tutu is incredibly affectionate and adores being part of the action. He loves plush toys, tug-of-war, and relaxing at your side after a fun-filled day. While he can be reactive to some dogs—particularly through barriers or with large, high-energy dogs—he’s made meaningful progress and responds well to calm redirection. With proper introductions, he may be able to live with a gentle canine companion, though he’d also be quite content as your one and only.Tutu does best with gentle guidance, clear structure, and lots of love. A home with older kids who can match his energy and respect his space would be a great fit. He can be a bit shy in new situations, but once he settles in, he’s a devoted and deeply loving companion.This special pup is more than ready for his forever home—a place where he can continue to grow, explore, and share his big, goofy, affectionate heart.
