My story

Kyra is a young dog who has not had an easy life. She was a stray mama trying to keep her puppies safe on the streets of Tucson- imagine how stressful that would be!! At the shelter, Kyra has been working hard to build confidence and trust, and with the help of our dedicated staff and volunteers, she’s started to show us her sweet, loving personality. She is learning about normal doggy things and has so much potential to be a wonderful companion!When meeting other dogs in playgroup, Kyra has been appropriate and tolerant of the other dogs, exploring the yard and periodically checking in on the other pups. She may benefit from a calm, confident and well- matched furry friend who can show her the ropes in her future home. Kyra is looking for a safe and secure home with a savvy family who will help her continue her journey. Please ask to meet her today!
