My story

Hi, I’m Norma—a 7-year-old, 55-pound gal with a soft heart and a steady pace. Whether we’re hitting the trails or strolling through the neighborhood, I’m happiest when I’ve got fresh air, new smells, and some room to roam.I’ve had a couple of field trips out of the shelter, and let me tell you—I’m a total dream on a walk. I’m polite on leash, curious about my surroundings, and love taking my time to sniff every little thing (hey, it’s the best part of the walk!). I’ve met friendly people and even some kiddos, and I’ve been calm and well-mannered with everyone.In the play yard, I’m more of an independent explorer than a social butterfly—I’m happy to coexist with other dogs, but I won’t be the one starting a game of tag. I know “sit,” enjoy treats, and if you’re patient, I might just lean in for some good snuggles.If you`re looking for a gentle companion with a quiet confidence, I’d love to be your walking buddy—and maybe your couch buddy too.
