My story

#####HIGHLIGHTS:-Requires another dog in the home-Would do best with a 5` fenced-in yard Meet Mr. Krabs, a sweet and playful 3-year-old male Black Tri Australian Shepherd weighing in at 27 lbs who`s ready to find his forever home! Mr. Krabs is an intelligent and energetic boy who thrives in the company of other dogs, so he requires a home with at least one canine companion. While he may be a little nervous at first and take some time to build trust, once he feels comfortable, he’ll show you just how loyal and loving he can be.Mr. Krabs recently learned how to walk on leash, we are currently working on his confidence in new environments. Mr. Krabs is learning to trust new people, approaching strangers in the yard and taking his favorite treats from their hands. He would do best with a securely fenced yard with a 5-foot fence, but as his confidence with leash-walking grows, it may not be a necessity. He’s looking for a calm, structured environment where he can build confidence and trust. If you`re an experienced dog owner who can provide the support, patience, and care Mr. Krabs needs, he’ll be your devoted friend for life. He can’t wait to find a family that will give him the love, understanding, and consistency he deserves!****Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to family life. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog’s individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with time and a gentle approach, most of these dogs adapt quickly. Being a part of their rehabilitation is incredibly rewarding. To learn more about mill dogs and start the adoption process, visit our website.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Mr. Krabs, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
