My story

Hi, I’m Fezz! I was rescued from LA Animal Control with mange, but thanks to the wonderful care from Smittens, I made a full recovery. I even fought through an upper respiratory infection, got neutered, and now - I’m all set to find my forever home! I’m a big, grey tabby that is super mellow and affectionate. I’m a lover and may stick to you like Velcro - I love giving head butts, snuggles, and kisses. I will literally hug you when you pick me up! I’m a social butterfly and get along well with people and dogs, and while I may need slow introductions to other cats, I’m always ready to make new friends. Overall, I’m a big love bug! Now, I’m looking for a warm and loving home where I can play, relax, and enjoy the safe and happy indoor life.Fezz’s x-ray shows that he has asthma and is being observed on the severity of his occasional coughing symptoms, although he is not on an official treatment plan yet, as his coughing is intermittent. He may need to be on medication in the future.Fezz tested FIV+ which is usually an incidental finding in healthy cats and Fezz is a healthy boy! Feline Immunodeficiency Virus is a retrovirus sometimes passed (usually among intact outdoor cats fighting) through deep bite wounds. Most cats live long, normal lives never knowing they carry the dormant virus, but it is something to let your vet know about.
