My story

7 30 2025 Update: My current foster family calls me Cramer, I think it's because it's easier for the little boy to say. He loves me a lot and helps me remember how much fun playing ball and chasing can be. I'm a goof when he's around, when I lean up on him he falls down and I lay on top of him so he can hug and pet me. My foster siblings let me have my space and I am very gentle with my 4 lb Chi senior sibling, never stepping on her or pushing her out of the way. I don't bark unless it's absolutely necessary (which is basically never), keep the birds and squirrels off the fence and out of the yard. I am learning how to not pull on the lead during walks, it's hard not too when there's so much to see out there!!! Each night I make sure everyone is safe by checking each room before I settle down and rest. My foster family has discovered I cry when they leave, pace and sit at the door until they come back, they think it's because I am not used to being in such a small "pack". I am getting better with each time they have to leave because I am learning they always come back, and when they get back I get lots of tummy rubs, hugs and a snack for being so brave.  My wish for my furever family would be to have someone that likes to sit and relax, but wants to go on walks now and again. Just because I'm 7 shouldn't be a show stopper, I have another 5-7 years of love left in me to give. I love my foster siblings and would be okay with another 4 legged (not sure about cats) or a two legged sibling; I am really good with 2 legged siblings 6 yrs or above that want to play gentle. I'm sure I'd be good with little siblings (younger than 6), just haven't met one yet. Oh, and I Love, Love to go on car rides!! Craver came from a hoarder where we have rescued about 20 of her dogs.  This boy is the ultimate definition of sweet!  He bows his head for you to rub it.  He is great with other dogs of course and great with children.  He is calm, he is loving and he is so deserving to spend his last years in a loving home being treated special as he is.  He is about 6 or 7 years old and weighs 65 to 70 lbs ##2349985##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Craver, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
