Boa

My story

Boa has been described as enthusiastic, happy, friendly, silly. He likes giving kisses. Boa was brought in as a stray, so we don`t know his history. We estimate that he is about 1 year old. He knows Sit and is treat motivated. That`s helpful when training! He still needs some work on what to do with his energy when he`s excited (like not jumping up). Boa is labeled as a `holds it` dog. That means he keeps his kennel clean and can wait until he is let out for a walk to do his business. This may indicate that he is potty trained or would be easier to train.He got a break from the shelter recently! Here`s what we learned: `Boa was so fun and energetic! We went to the park, then I took him home and he ran and ran around the backyard. He is such a happy boy and loved pets and snuggles.`In playgroups he has been selective with his dog friends. He likes to play with a rowdy style. Like all our adult dogs, Boa will need to meet future canine companions before going home. Our shelter staff will lead their introductions in a safe environment to see if they are compatible. At the main campus, you can bring your dog along when you come for adoptions if you like. Boa is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready for a loving forever home!His ADOPTION FEE IS WAIVED! We want all our dogs to have homes as quickly as possible. In an effort to help dogs with longer stays, those who are deteriorating in the shelter environment, or who are harder to place find homes more quickly, the adoption fee for this dog has been waived.
