Meet Scrappy – Your New Best Friend! Scrappy is a 1-year-old, 65-pound bundle of love with a heart as big as his paws. This affectionate guy is the perfect blend of playful energy and laid-back charm—especially impressive for his breed! Scrappy walks beautifully on leash, making strolls through the neighborhood or hikes on the trail an absolute breeze. He’s also a smart cookie who already knows how to sit, give paw, and play a solid game of fetch. Whether he's showing off his skills or flopping over for one of his beloved belly rubs, Scrappy always finds a way to make you smile. He’s looking for a home where he can keep learning, keep playing, and—most importantly—keep loving. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s as intelligent as he is cuddly, Scrappy might just be your perfect match. Scrappy would do best in a home without cats or small animals. As always, we strongly recommend bringing any resident dogs to the shelter for a meet and greet with potential new family members to be sure it's a good match. If bringing a dog for a meet and greet, please bring proof of up to date rabies, bordetella, and DHPP vaccines. To meet your future pet, come to Guilford County Animal Services between 12 and 4 any day except Tuesday!
