He was reportedly abandoned in a house, left alone when his person moved out. A kind neighbor stepped in and made sure he got help. Now, Barrington is safe at the shelter and ready to start over with a family who truly sees him.He’s a young dog with lots of energy, a curious mind, and a big, open heart. Volunteers say he seems to be housebroken, and he already knows how to sit and takes treats gently—small signs of the good boy he’s always wanted to be. He’ll thrive in a home that can offer him structure, patience, and lots of positive reinforcement.Barrington is still working on things like leash manners and basic cues, and we think he’d benefit from positive reinforcement training—not just to help with skills, but to build a strong, trusting bond with his new people.This sweet boy may have been left behind once, but he’s not looking back.
