My story
Rosie Poise our tiny little Coonhound mix. Rosie was found at a heavy traffic intersection where she had a high possibility of being hit, luckily for her a concerned citizen stopped to take her to safety. She has been in HSSM care since March 22nd, 2025. If you love hound dogs, but aren`t super interested in a large dog....then Rosie might be the one for you. Rosie has all the breed characteristics of a hound dog (Independent, floppy ears, and love for the outdoors) but only weighs in at 30lbs! She is still young and has lots of love and potential to bring to a household. She is 1 year old, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and will be spayed upon adoption. She is Heartworm positive, but don`t let that push you away! Our HSSM Wellness Clinic does discount the treatment for adopters.
