My story

Layla is on site at our adoption center in SoHo! She is cautious when meeting new people, but with a little patience, she warms up and enjoys affection. Once she feels comfortable, her loving personality shines through. She enjoys playing, and she is slowly stating to come out of her shell. She will benefit from a home which is supportive and patient as she settles in. Her foster notes "Layla is a very independent but curious cat. Once comfortable, she likes eating treats out of your palm and is very gentle when doing so. Her favorite thing is finding new spots to catch a snooze in." Layla is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and had preventative treatments to ensure she is ready for her new home. To meet Layla, visit the Best Friends New York Soho Lifesaving Center at 307 West Broadway, New York, NY, near Canal Street. We're open daily from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm.
