Meet Josey!This sweet pup had a rough start—she was found alone in a parking lot, scared and in need of care. Thankfully, a kind rescuer brought her to safety, and now she's thriving and ready for her forever home.In her foster home, Josey has made great strides! She picked up potty training quickly, uses the doggy door like a pro, and sleeps peacefully in her kennel at night. Josey is smart and eager to please, especially with consistent, positive reinforcement.While she has been around both small and large dogs, Josey prefers to have her humans all to herself. She can be territorial and protective of her space, so she’ll do best as the only dog in the home. Because of this, and her strong personality, she is not suited for homes with children under 13. Josey will thrive with patient, understanding adopters who can continue helping her build confidence and feel secure.Josey is a loyal, affectionate pup who bonds deeply with her people.
