My story

Meet Sena – The Sweet and Social Jindo Mix! Sena is a six-month-old spayed female Jindo mix with a beautiful brown and white coat, weighing 6.7kg. She was rescued from a city shelter along with her mother and siblings after being placed on the euthanasia list. While some of her siblings have already found their forever homes, Sena is still waiting for hers! This little girl is a total sweetheart! She’s affectionate, social, and loves both familiar and new people. Out of her littermates, she’s the most outgoing and people-oriented—always eager to seek attention and affection. She enjoys the company of both men and women and does great with children under 13. Sena is comfortable being picked up and will even show her belly to strangers, a sure sign of her trust and friendliness. She also gets along well with other dogs, big and small. However, she may bark at unfamiliar large dogs to tell them to keep their distance. Once she warms up, she enjoys rolling around and playing with them, but she tends to prefer playing with dogs her own size, especially her littermates. High-energy dogs can be a bit overwhelming for her, so she does best with calmer or moderately active canine friends. Sena has shown some curiosity about cats and may bark at them, but she has no aggression toward them and can be further tested. Her energy level is moderate—she loves outdoor activities but also knows how to relax afterward. She enjoys running and playing but settles down nicely when it’s time to rest. Since she’s still young, Sena is new to walking on a leash and needs a bit of encouragement. If something scares her, she tends to flatten herself to the ground, and she’s still a little nervous about having a leash put on. However, she’s very people-focused and will come when called by someone she trusts, so she just needs a little patience and positive reinforcement to build her confidence on walks. She’s already making progress with treat-based training! She’s polite with food and doesn’t guard her meals from people or other dogs. After playing, she usually settles down and naps quietly in her kennel. She also does well when placed in a crate and remains calm. Sena is adaptable with potty habits and is comfortable using both indoor pee pads and going outside. With her affectionate personality and gentle nature, Sena is sure to make a wonderful companion.
