Ruby: A Little Crooked, A Lot PerfectIf you’re looking for a dog who will make your heart melt faster than an ice cream cone in July, meet Ruby, a six-year-old Coonhound with a crooked little smile and a heart of absolute gold.Ruby’s face tells a story - someone hurt her once, likely hitting or kicking her jaw - but Ruby isn’t dwelling on that. No way. She’s got too many sniffs to sniff, people to love, and snacks to investigate. (She is a Hound, after all.)This gentle girl came to us from an overcrowded shelter where her time was nearly up. Now she’s safe, she’s healing, and she’s ready for the next chapter: the one where she finds her forever home.Ruby is calm, kind, and a total pro on leash. She leans in close to show she loves you, and once she decides you’re safe? Her whole face lights up like sunrise.Her crooked little jaw needs simple surgery to help her feel her best, and Animal Aid will cover the cost even after adoption.
