Nina Hazel is a resilient and affectionate 7-year-old French Bulldog with a heart full of love. This calm and cuddly girl thrives on companionship and is happiest when snuggled up next to her favorite people. She's potty trained, working on crate training, and sleeps peacefully through the night-making her an easygoing and loving addition to the right home. Nina Hazel gets along with other dogs but prefers to have her own space when it comes to food and toys. Due to a rough past, she's still working through some resource guarding, so mealtime and playtime are best enjoyed solo. Due to an old jaw injury, she enjoys her meals with just a little extra softness. She has a hernia, but it does not require repair at this time, and it doesn't slow her down one bit. She does require daily seizure medication, but with proper care, she's living a happy and fulfilling life. Because Nina Hazel doesn't like feeling cornered, she'd do best in a home with older kids who understand her need for space. She hasn't been tested with cats, but with a slow introduction, she'd likely be fine as long as they respect her boundaries. This brave little girl has been through a lot, but she's ready to leave her past behind and embrace a future filled with love, security, and plenty of snuggles.
