My story

Meet Harley! This nearly 6-year-old German Shepherd/Red Heeler mix is the total package—calm, loyal, and full of heart. Harley is house-trained, crate-trained, and knows her commands, making her an easy and respectful companion at home. She loves her daily walks, her toys, and most of all, being near her people. A true Velcro dog, Harley is happiest right by your side, quietly keeping watch and offering constant companionship. Though she can be a little reserved with new faces, once you’re part of her circle, she’s all in—devoted, loving, and ready to be your shadow. She’s learned to settle when left alone, but when you’re around, expect her to be close by, soaking in your presence with sweet, steady loyalty. Harley currently lives with other dogs and gets along well, showing gentle herding instincts to help keep the peace. She hasn’t lived with cats and has a strong prey drive, so a cat-free home is best. Harley is available through our Foster-to-Adopt program, giving you the chance to see just how special she is before making things official.
