My story

#A5684302 Meet Pebbles , a sweet 5-year-old German Shepherd/Lab mix with a gorgeous honey-colored coat and animated ears that perk up with excitement!  Her soulful eyes and warm, sensitive heart make her a truly special girl. Pebbles is vivacious and loves playtime, especially chasing balls (but she's still working on bringing them back for a proper game of fetch!). She’s also incredibly cuddly and affectionate - belly rubs are definitely the way to her heart! Though she was described to be a bit defensive and wary of other dogs at the shelter, with our volunteers, she has shown to be non-reactive and calm with other pups in appropriate settings, with appropriate introductions. Good on a leash, knowledgeable of basic commands like sit, food motivated, and eager to learn, Pebbles is a perfect package deal. This sweet little lady is ready for a loving home where she can truly shine - will you scoop her up today? 5 year old brown German Shepherd/Yellow Lab mix 53 pound spayed female Up to date on all shots and preventatives, so ready to go home with you today! Came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 3/8/25 as a stray lovely honey colored coat, with darling animated ears that perk at attention soulful eyes and a warm, sensitive heart animated and vivacious A huge fan of playtime, especially chasing balls - but still learning how to bring it back for a proper game of fetch cuddly and affectionate, and loooooves belly rubs - truly the way to her heart! has been described as defensive and wary of other dogs at the shelter, but she was tested not long after arriving at the shelter and did not have time to decompress - with our volunteer, she was non reactive to other pups, not even a bark!  Pebbles may just be selective of other dogs, but engaged in appropriate greetings through the fence in the play yard when with our volunteers good on leash, knows basic commands like sit, and is food motivated, which makes for easy training!   PEBBLES’ VIDEO: https://youtube.com/shorts/DnHkoDu3ELc   For more information, contact volunteer Lisa at lisaa@unitedhopeforanimals.org ------- United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals.  This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter.
